Kaguya.
Current Naruto.
Current Sasuke.
Hashirama.
EMS Madara without Kurama.
Nagato.
DSM Kabuto.

That's not rating Obito; that's saying which of the fallowing characters can he vanquish. Ratings are typically out ten. Maybe DMS Kabuto and slimy Nagato. It's hard when all you can do is conjecture. Characters win half of the time with plot-no-justu, so it's hard to be factual.

That's how we rate ninjas sir, rather that's how ranking procedure should work. If I don't compare two people using their abilities, I won't be able to find common point. Feats vary from ninja to ninja and hence it is really difficult to find common points between them.

@bold, in case of this manga it isn't true. There are hardly any wins due to 'plot' and people who analyze the characters/manga debaters must be talented enough to separate facts from plot-no-jutsu. That is what separates a good debater from immature one.
On top of that it isn't conjecture because when I asked you that question, I provided you more than sufficient info, even specifying which version of character I am talking about. It will be 'conjecture', if I don't give you that. Also we must take into consideration that result of fights pretty much depend on the surroundings, for example, DSM Kabuto can use cave effectively and hence becomes more powerful and hence when I didn't specify anything, means it is by default normal circumstances with no special advantages to both the sides, which is something the top 10 rating doesn't take into consideration. Top 10 rating is one of the reasons due to which people don't consider data book stats as the only measure of power and hence leaving out room for debating and power scale analysis.

You're misinterpreting what in saying; I'm conjecturing based off plot-no-justu. That's not called ranking, still. Ranking is ranking, and character ability analysis is character ability analysis. You can't just say they're one in same, although I admit, they're similar. Paradoxes and oxymorons are 'similar', but we use them more fastidiously.

Are suggesting plot-no-justu never happens in Naruto, since you always think there's a rational reason for everything that happens. You're right good debaters will try and see logic to everything even in a 'fake, made up' story, however, a great debater will see that what's rational half the time is irrational which allows for plot-no-justu to exist. If you want real life proof in real life, look at Aristotle's metaphysics, astronomy, and biology; perfect examples contemplations of motion and early atom construction which are completely erroneous in today's terms. Nobody, back then, ever questioned that world was made of ice back :/. Then irrational seemingly person came proved many so-called facts wrong. However, things could be vice versa, proving me wrong. . Infinite paradoxes...
