These are fictional characters.

As in not real.

As in have never breathed or eaten.

Or thought.

They do not exist.

So why does everyone make such a big deal about why "NARUHINA IS RIGHT!!1!" or "NO, NARUSAKU FOREVER!!!!&/38;8;&3!&2&2$:!!!!!!)

It's ridiculous.

Why do people care so much about people who like pairings? That's another good question. Why can't you accept them, yet you expect others to accept you? That's beyond me.

The difference is that we can argue about something like that because it has actual facts to back it up.

When you start talking about why Hinata loves Naruto, or why Naruto loves Sakura, you get into speculation. Also it's just weird. Like you have nothing better to do than debate a fictional character's love interest?

So, should Naruto be a robot and spend the rest of the Manga fighting people, just because you people think it's weird for him to have a girl?

Also I want to add that why it's so weird to me is that people get WAY too involved and concerned over fictional relationships. I've seen people cuss each other on this site because they were arguing on this subject.

It's ridiculous, they are FICTIONAL, there is no reason to feel so much need to protect them and defend them.

There's also no need to judge them all the time for doing so. It's what they like to do. There's nothing wrong with that. You think it's weird to defend a fictional characters when you waste your time criticizing people for defending fictional characters.

That's funny. You say you can judge all you want. Then you ask me if I'm judging you for judging people... Wait, are you the only one who can judge then?

It's ridiculous to discuss fictional characters, at all. The premise of this forum is quite ridiculous. I see people argue all the time over the validity of a character one way or another (as if they were a real person).

Your own belief that there are "facts" to back up 'who is the strongest?' demonstrates that you're caught in the web of ridiculousness, yourself.

I've just decided that life, itself, is ridiculous and there's no need for me to worry about what's ridiculous and what's not. Everything I do is ridiculous, and I really don't care to be any other way.

Have you never been drawn into a book or TV show? If we didn't feel attached to the characters and start caring about what happens to them, then there would be no reason to keep following the story.

And you are aware that the discussion of characters and their romantic pairings has been going on since long before the existence of television and the internet? Point in case: Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.
