Why does everyone have a different mangekyou sharingan?

I know madara pointed this out saying sasuke had a straight eyed tomoe or something like that it the war. But did it ever mention why they are different. Why are Obito and Kakashi able to use kamui and not the black flames and powerful genjustsu ( i dont know how to spell them).

The Sharingan is the "eye of the feelings". Specifically, the Mangekyou is awakened through special chakra in the brain, therefore each chakra signature produces a different design and techniques.
