Only have 1 Byakugan? I mean normally those that awaken Dojutsu has Dojutsu in both eyes, unless the eye is transplanted like Kakashi, Aoi with the Byakugan and Obito with Madara Rinnengan.

OP: Probably how it cane out, kishi did make notion that a fusion of uchiha and byakugan would be one byakugan and one sharingan. It's possible that byakugan gets diluted over time. After all, we haven't really seen any ootsutsuki pr hyuga mix with others other than Hinata. Homnawari was fortunate enough to get both. Boruto was not and just has the one. His occular ete probably has special properties though

Honestly there are 2 possible scenario that I can think of. Either he's a hybrid of Uzumaki and Hyuga which may explain he has one byakugan on his right or he had some kakashi treatment whereas he got transplanted byakugan from the others.

It's not the first time we've seen a transplanted Dojutsu (if that's what it is).

It's not the first time we've seen someone activate a one eyed Dojutsu before.

Let's just see what happens. Either way he's a Hyuuga so having a Dojutsu that maybe Byakugan-related, isn't out of the ordinary.
