Why does anyone have to be inside spiral zetsu?

A lot of threads have been popping up about who is inside of spiral zetsu. I realize that many of these are just jokes, but there are also many serious ones. My question is this. Why does anyone have to be inside of spiral zetsu? He can act on his own and he can use wood style on his own. I don't see why anyone would even have to be inside of him. Share your thoughts.

That zetsu is boss mode with his arms crossed like Madara. He's hollow so why not be awesome and throw Yamato in there?

His powers surpass any Zetsu we've seen thus far, and when Madara asked the other Zetsu about his fight, he said the "insides" (base in Viz trans) were good material, which leads us to believe someone is in there.

Because when madara asked how the other fight going. The white zetsu replied " the insides are quite good" meaning there's something inside spiral zetsu.

Probaly because Spiral Zetsu is showing techs that are way above what a normal Zetsu has shown so far.

You know what you make a good point about Madara showing how Izuna could fight without eyes. If that's still the accepted storyline. Lost eyes, later died in war. Guess it'd be, gets cut by 2nd, gives up eyes, fights on and dies
