Why do you think theres rushed endings

I mean where the author pretty much gives up in the end especially when they've gotten the majority of plot that need to go through. Do you think it's usually due to the author or external factor.

It's also crazy how rare it is across pretty much all medium how authors can almost never do a good ending. They are either rushed or go with some cliche thing or just bad.

Maybe it was never about the ending but the journey, and so the ending is not dealth with care.

I hear that the editors for the publishers are to blame for a lot of the problems. Publishers almost always limit and control what direction a story can go, so they assign editors who alter the originally submitted work into the publisher’s vision.

They may not be called editors but you get the gist.

A combination of all that's been said? Also, I think some authors lose their enthusiasm towards the end and they just want to be done with it so they write an half assed ending.

I recently finished reading Dolly Kill Kill and the ending was so frustrating, even though the manga itself was actually fun.
