Why do you like hinata?

Soft spoken character but will fight for what is right when the time comes. Place herself in harms way to save those that she care for. If it came down to it, she probably would die for Naruto.

OT:I liked her backstory from part 1, the fact that she was viewed weak like Naruto and Neji and Hanabi were supposedly stronger than her, gave her plenty of room for character development. The bad blood between Neji and Hinata is one of the main things that drew me into Naruto since I first started watching at the chuunin exams. She was the female underdog imho, I really wanted to see her surpass Neji, or at the very least Hanabi, but kishi just stopped ALL 0f her development on anything other than her main crush unfortunately. She was nice to Naruto and I really liked how he got beat up for her and what not, not to mention she's a hyuuga, that alone gives her cool points.

Hinata had more presence and a more prominent role on part 1, at least to me. But now everyone seems to have forgotten everything about her other than her declarations of love to Naruto.
