Why do you guys still RP here?

This is no rant, this is not to bash whomever. But to freely express why do you guys stick around the rp here. And if not, why have you quit the rp. I say this because ive seen a massive decrease in the rping people here and it dont even seem scorps is even active no more ... so what keeps you guys going..or why did you quit?

I haven't really battled much, I tried to stay active but couldn't find the want to rp. Its full of arguing and takes forever. If I want to play as a certain character I have to take a test which takes absurdly long to just start and is very difficult. Also I have to write out replies. If I want to play as a Naruto characters against someone else storm series is there for that and I can play as characters like Minato all I want.

The thing that keeps me somewhat in the rp is my village if something happens I tend to want to help. But this roleplay stopped being fun along time ago.

Other than I like Naruto. I quit a lot of "projects" and decided to want to finish something for once. However, the only thing thats keeping me away is that I have to actually be social and make friends to get what I need/want faster.

Nothing really changes here, it's like the same stuff over and over, rinse and repeat. Whether that's our fault as a community, or the moderators fault, or both, I don't know.

Sums up how I feel tbh. I only tend to want to rp when my village.. well ex village (Sunagakure) is in danger

I totally agree, I dont even stick around the rp no more. I tend to submit customs but i often self ask myself why. I think taking ideas from members instead of implementing their own ideas would be best. Cause I give this rp maybe a year and a half before it dies out. Something gots to give..

Well, I still find enjoyment in it, and it's something to do on here.

Plus the community. I've always approached the RP as something more meticulous... do it in smaller controlled bursts so as to not get bored or burned out.

I enjoy it. Battling and RP'ing in general is something I find quite fun, not to mention it somewhat helps me as a writer. It also gives me a chance to challenge myself doing something I never once thought about doing before. Compared to other things, it's a fresh experience for me. Given, this may be because I am a relatively new RP'er (been RP'ing for almost a year, but I've got a few things done), but I still see myself RP'ing for a good long time before I consider dropping the ball. The community is a nice place as well, especially in my village (the same can be said for everyone else). I've got friends in this place, and I doubt I'd be talking much to them at all if I stopped RP'ing.

I love the people on this place. I've tried quitting numerous times, and I've also gone inactive multiple times due to RL issues, but no matter what happens, I just keep coming back.
I've met a lot of great people(shoutout to Iwa <3) on here, and made a lot of friends, I guess. I do wish I had the chance to meet some of them in person, but ah well. Life doesn't always go the way you want it too.

Aside from the community, I still find the Rp moderately enjoyable. It's not like I've achieved everything I've ever wanted to achieve on here, so that keeps me going one way or another, I guess. Battling is always fun too, when done moderately and without petty arguments.
