Why do you call every new powerup BS or illogical?

People need to realize that the manga is a continuously-evolving series, not something with an already-established set of rules that must be adhered to lest it be broken.

We have been viewing the manga for about 400 or so chapters in the Shinobi Alliance's perspective, and we are suddenly thrust into a realm where we are playing with powers unseen for several millennium. Of course we are going to see new things. Suddenly they apply to the rules too? I don't think so.

I understand what you're saying but that really only applies to the Rinnegan and the Jubi.

bolded my opinions on your points

Your #1 is exactly what I am talking about (that "it came out of nowhere argument"). So what? Rinbo hengoku came out of nowhere too and you yourself justified it by saying that there was a lot that we didn't know about the rinnegan. What makes the sharingan (or anything else for that matter) any different? Who said that we knew absolutely everything about the sharingan?

Are you aware that those options are basically the same thing so in other words we have no choice but to agree with you....

OT: There's nothing wrong with a power-up besides they're going against madara.

The powers of the Sharingan have been mostly untouched, since only a handful of people have acquired Stage Two. If you accept the hypothesis that the summon beasts like the Toad Sage, Monkey King, Slug Queen, Snake Sage, and Turtle Sage (why not) are thousands of years old, then their powers they confer are old and mostly untouched as well. These are all powers outside of mainstream, commercial teaching. We are watching their prowess unfold before our very eyes. We don't have a handbook of lore that has been clearly established. We are like Pasteur watching bacteria and maggots sully meat in real time.

Well it doesn't make sense that something that has been in the series since the very beginning of part one, would have a technique to be revealed at almost the end of the series, for the convenience of taking down one enemy. It could have at least been hinted prior to the Uchiha vs Kabuto fight, for example when Danzo was fighting Sasuke using Izanami. It would have been a perfect time, actually. Obito could have referenced the fact that Izanagi has a partner jutsu while he was watching the fight from the sidelines having an internal monologue.

This is the realest shit posted in a minute. Everytime they feel their favorite character is inferior, it's straight to calling that jutsu an asspull. Izanami was far from an asspull. How else do you defeat someone who couldn't necessarily be touched by anything Sasuke or Itachi were doing. Genjutsu wasn't going to work. Kabuto fodderized Itachi in taijutsu. Susano was dodged easily. Even in the way he set the genjutsu showed it was foreshadowed, yet, it was an asspull.

Maybe Danzo didn't know izanami. Izanami is implied to have not been used as much as izanagi. What would be the point in Obito referencing it? It had no relevance to the fight. As for part 1 battles, the only people with Sharingan that we saw at that time were Kakashi, Sasuke and Itachi. Kakashi probably didn't know izanami or even izanagi for that matter considering that he is a non Uchiha and probably doesn't know that much about Uchiha history as a result. Sasuke didn't learn about izanagi or izanami until well into part 2. Itachi just one shotted his opponents with tsukuyomi and used amaterasu to escape from Jiraiya. Also, even if Kakashi could have used izanami against opponents like Zabuza, why would he waste his eye on an opponent that he could beat without sacrificing his eye?

Conclusion: Your argument is a perfect example of what I meant when I said that people call something BS just because they didn't know about it or see it coming.

^^^This!!! You called the following things plot powerups:

1. Izanami
2. Konoha 11's new jutsus
3. Bijuu Mode
4. BSM
5. Minato having KCM and BM
6. Kakashi mastering Kamui
7. Rinbo Hengoku
8. Sasuke's perfect susanoo
9. Madara's whole arsenal.
10. Sakura's byakugou seal and summoning jutsu
11. Kyuubi Chakara Cloaks.
12. Madara's revival.

I might be missing some. This is all I can think of right now.

You guys do know that not every little thing has to be foreshadowed or be given a lot of development. We don't need to see 5 chapters about how Kiba learned shadow clone jutsu. As for stuff like the Kyuubi Cloaks, that was actually apart of Shikaku's final plan. Therefore this was in fact planned and it wasn't pulled out of nowhere. As for stuff like Rinbo hengoku and izanami, there was never a law stating that the sharingan or rinnegan couldn't have more than what has already been displayed. Seriously! I feel like some of you people just looked at Nagato and then just assumed that that was all the rinnegan could do. It has even been stated that the rinnegan could bring fourth any ninjutsu! The same concept goes for sharingan (not the any ninjutsu part). When you people saw izanami, you seemingly said to yourself "I've never seen this jutsu before. Therefore it is illogical. Anything that I have never seen before or that I could not predict is illogical". Once again I must say that something is not illogical just because you don't expect it.

That is all I have to say.

Ps. People say that I write walls of text, but I do not. All of my threads and posts are nice and short and to the point.

I will agree, most of them are logical progressions or it isn't a big deal that it popped up, but the one i still have to argue is izanami. That one is the biggest piece of crap scapegoat yet. Since they HAD to keep kabuto alive there was literally no way kishi could think of for them to win. honestly id be intrigued to see how they would kill him if they were trying to, he was just made too over powered...what with immunity to their ocular genjutsu, faster and stronger due to dragon mode, permanature chakra absorption so he kept dragon mode, ability to mask his chakra and/or split it amongst his snakes to confuse sasuke and itachi, not to mention that when actually hitting him, he could go liquid and escape anything but lightning. The minute details go on. At the end of the day kishi wrote himself into a corner with an OP enemy that they could not defeat let alone capture...so what does he do? "hmmmm the guy has to get into a genjutsu but he is totally immune to them...i know!!! I'll make an ocular jutsu that doesn't require him to actually see their eyes or itachis ring, just like izanagi doesnt require anyone to see the eye. I'll call it izanami". My qualm is that it wasn't even explained as a decent jutsu, let alone built up like the all powerful izanagi, but it was just kishi's quick effort to end the battle before everyone realized he didnt know how to beat kabuto. It was a perfect case of why you should write the conclusion and then go back to lead up to it. He built and built kabuto with no real endgame and then scratched his head when he got to defeating him.

People only call BS when they don't like it.

Or if the power-up is in fact, BS. That happens very rarely though. *cough* wireless Susano'o *cough*
