I watched a video from Ms5000watts on youtube and she summed it up perfectly, and it's from a woman's point of view.
Girls like bad boys. It's typical for girls to like them because bad boys are usually confident and girls believe that with such a confident outgoing nature, they will protect them. Obviously this isn't the case, but that's how GIRLS perceive boys at that age.
Women like to be respected and like good guys, aka men. Women are more mature and know what they want. They don't want a guy who is more interested in showing her off, rather than showing her how much he cares.
