Have you ever wondered why we yawn?

It's funny how scientists can't explain why every person on the planet yawns, maybe several times a day. Look at this even a baby in the womb can yawn. So do hedgehogs, ostriches, snakes, and even fish. These a lot of theories, often contradictory, but none satisfy that an explanation for this gulp of air, lasting six seconds on average, is to augment the brains oxygen supply. Yet there's not evidence supporting this suspicion. There's been a study of rats that yawn when there is a overheating in the brain. But no one really know.*

Strange huh? I found this to be quite interesting.

Also these funny topics I found. *"The proportion of Google search that includes the word 'porn' has tripled since 2004.

Just before 2011 Christmas celebrations, fighting broke out among some 100 priest and monks of rival denomination in church of the Nativity Bethleham. It happens every year. Yet no one is arrested because there man of God!

Just wanted to share that. Anything you find interesting post here!

Popular Muslim belief says God's loves sneezing but hates yawning.
Then I found this that may be interesting for the OP.

Concerning the meaning of that, it was said that the Shaytaan likes to see a person yawning because it makes him look different and so he laughs at him. It does not mean that the Shaytaan is the one who makes him yawn. And it was said that yawning is attributed to the Shaytaan because yawning comes from fullness of the stomach, which generates laziness, which happens under the influence of the Shaytaan. Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Yawning is attributed to the Shaytaan because it promotes whims and desires, because it stems from heaviness of the body, excessive relaxation and fullness of the stomach. So what is meant is a warning against the thing that leads to that, which is eating too much.
(Shaytaan means Devil)
