[Question] Why do we use mangapanda?

Just start using ***********.com instead of manga panda, they have better translations than manga panda... Please don't close/remove this without an answer, and don't tell me cos its free, because you just credit *********** for the upload and then use it...

Mangapanda releases faster then ***********.. But *********** has better translation cause they take the time to clean it properly and translate it better. so anyway MS > MP

Hmm, how can I put this? NB has this, like, "We're the best!" standard or mentality, so the staff try to get the manga to us as quickly as possible to keep us satisfied, so they go with MangaPanda, which is faster than *********** even though the quality is inferior.

They just don't want us to be kept waiting, I guess is the most basic way of saying it.

Here we go again with that classic MP vs MS debate..
But I do agree MS is more accurate than MP..=D=D

Because *********** comes always later than mangapanda. Why? Because of translations.

Now add that they copy one manga, these guys are copying too. That takes a day maybe.

Imagine the manga here was two days late. The principle of this base is that they are the best base and are working hard.

Does two days late coming out manga look working your ass off? No.

Add the copyrights. Mangapanda wins.

Maybe *********** is in some aspects better, but if you really prefer ***********, use that one.

They used it in the past. Admins/mods have explained why, I think it's more to it than just faster translation. I think it was legal issues or something like that. Will try to find the post.




Here it is:

Yes we all know that MS has simply the highest quality scans and one of the best translations. However don't forget that a while ago MS stopped with scanning because not only were they the best, they were also one of the fastest and as a result almost everyone used their scanlations. MS didn't really like that, so they stopped scanlating completely. After a lot of pressure they decided to start scanlating again, however only 12 to 24 hours after another group already scanlated it. We can't wait that long. In any case we will have to upload the earliest version as we really can't afford to wait that long. A bad translation is still better than nothing.

Then of course we still could re-upload the MS version when it comes out and remove the earlier version. The problem with that is that we then actually go against the wishes of MS. A few weeks ago one of the admins had done that, but as a reaction someone made a thread complaining about it, that we couldn't do that.

So we are stuck. A few weeks ago people complained that we used the MS version, now people want that we use them =/ Yes I prefer MS far above all the other scan groups, but I'm also not in the mood to get into a potential conflict with MS.

We will se what we can do.
