Sure in part one Sasuke was all around superior to Naruto but you gotta think about how things have changed. After part one, we've seen a huge shift in maturity and decision making between the two. Right now Naruto is acting like a man while Sasuke is still blindly following things resulting in childish actions. Even Itachi looked at Sasuke like he was stupid and almost disgusted at how he turned out on a mental level. In part two, we've seen a huge increase in Naruto's combat ability and he's actually extremely smart and has battle intelligence. The way he's been able to transform the Rasengan and use his Shadow Clones is enough to make anybody in the whole manga stop, admire, and think for a second. People underestimate that ability. **** the stupid debate about if Naruto or Sasuke had or didn't have this then he wouldn't be this and that, it's pointless. Look at what both has been able to do with time and within their ability to do. Think about who has made a better impact on the ninja-world.
When you see someone go through a process of hardships and being able to overcome those, that's when you have people who like that shit. I think there are more Naruto fans than Sasuke fans but I guarantee you that the percentage of people who do like Naruto are because of his growing up process while that same percentage or more of Sasuke fans only like him because of his power, and that's when you have character hopping fans who just like someone because of their power.
In any case, as of right now it's Naruto > Sasuke, not just because of his power but his knowledge and conscious of what is going on while being motivation for almost everyone on the whole Shinobi side of this ninja war.
. These are ninjas dude, I don't think anyone cares, plus Naruto to the idea of Uzumaki barrage from seeing Lion's barrage, so I guess he's a thief too. Naruto let the fox posses him and just used his power, if you're gonna bash Sasuke for using external power then you're being a giant hypocrite. Everything you try to bash Sasuke of, Naruto is guilty of too.
