This has been brought upon in another thread that I created on another topic, but I always grew curious on this particular thing that has been bothering me ever since the dub was introduced for the animated series of Naruto.
Why do they scream a lot in the English dub ? I mean every single dialogue it sounds as though they need to talk at the top of their lungs to get through with their statements. It's even worse during combat when it's an endless barrage of screaming that sometimes almost makes me reach the point of deafness, let alone take out the atmosphere of what the original version is attempting.
Please do enlighten me on this particular trend, for I am quite curious.
