Here we see Ichigo being curbstomped offscreen by a random sternritter. Which begs the question, Why is everyone trying to get him to fight Yhwach? Yes, he's the Main Character, but Urahara and the others don't know that. As far as they know, he's just the strong guy who is completely incapable of fighting Yhwach.

At least the plan made vague sense against Aizen, since Ichigo wasn't affected by Kyouka Suigetsu Ex Machina. But Yhwach can directly control Ichigo through Quincy Blood Ex Machina. If you don't believe me, ask the Soul King, who isn't half the man he used to be since Yhwach first demonstrated this power.

A more viable strategy, would be to leave Ichigo to die while Askin explains all the inner workings of the Wandenreich, and having the occasional Coffee Break, then to have Urahara and everyone else go Bankai and jump Yhwach at once. Obviously, this wouldn't work either, but at least you aren't sending the kid who already killed God because Yhwach wanted him too.

I mean, even with the almighty activated, he could somewhat push Ywach back, not actually harm him, mind you, and Ywhach received an upgrade, but it's probably good enough.

Well Ichigo has 1 main thing that is a bane to all Quincy's. The Hollow portion of his Soul and Powers. If Quincy's even get a scratch from a hollow they get infected and die. Ichigo's mother was the only true survivor of a hollow attack because she had her soul bonded with it and Isshin's (Ichigo's dad) was bonded with a human soul. Anyways back on topic, we havent really seen anything to how Ichigo's newly matured & complete powers. I use complete loosely, because his souls are no longer divided, and thus now 1 and the same. So far all we have seen is the mastered Shinigami + Quincy Attacks. Nothing of the Hollow arch type... yet. We have still yet to see his TRUE Bankai form.

If they get scratched by a hollow they die?...I guess Gerard ain't quincy then..cuz he was scratched by some an it did nothing to him.

That's never been how it works. White was only so dangerous to Masaki because it was designed to hollowfy people. If an ordinary hollow had attacked her, it wouldn't do anything special.

Also, Yhwach isn't just going to keel over and die because he was infected by a hollow.

Ok lets talk about White. Yes it was a Hollowfied corpse of sorts. It wasnt designed to hollowfy anyone, especially people. Quincy's arent people, they are their own race similar to Shinigami. Misaki, was in the wrong place at the wrong time when White was unleashed by Aizen and she ended up getting attacked defending Isshin. What happened to her was accidental cause and effect, she wasnt hollowfying, she was literally dying, as if being poisoned. Part of the reason Quincy's just kill Hollows is because for them, its kill or be killed. Also thats why they were exiled to the Hueco Mundo living in the shadows staying in check, and some escaped to the human world to try to live a normal life. The 1000 year conflict.

I wasnt saying Yhwach was just gonna die either. yes i was exaggerating, but i was trying to make a point as that was the unique advantage Ichigo has. We saw Grimmjow rip out that last Sternritters heart and curb stomp his face before he was rescued by Nell. We didnt exactly see him die but can assume that he is done for. So for Ichigo its like adding poison to his swords as an advantage. He is a unique person after all having 4 souls after all.

White was designed to hollowfy shinigami. It's not just a typical hollow, it was designed to infect it's victims with Hollow Reiatsu. That's deadly to quincies. What isn't deadly, is being scratched by a regular hollow. ESPECIALLY TO YHWACH.

one word. potential. they know tbat if he gets it together he has the potential to be the strongest being in their universe. problem, time. all of the enemies and his allies sre hundreds of years old. lol so there will be a few mishaps and amateurism sure once it comes down to fight bach he'll unleash everything we havent seen.
