Why do the best threads get closed?

I dont see the need for a warning when its really out of hand. I mean when everyone in there is just flaming at each other its no longer a conversation. Should the mods really have to send messages to 10 ppl everyone they get mad in a thread? No one is really talking anyone so theyve really killed the thread themselves.

Very good point there. I agree that if a thread(much like this one now) is just a few people arguing,then it should be shut. If any admin are watching, feel free to close this thread...
