Why do the best threads get closed?

Quite simple really. A few of us were having a great time debating on two great/funny threads and they both got closed.

Do you think we should have some say in this?

I kinda don't get what you just said...

I just think when there's a good thread, sometimes the admins close them if they don't understand or if they comment in them and are wrong.

If a thread is reported and the staff member deems that it breaks the rules, it gets closed.

1: The 1st thread was by ChickenSoop who really showed himself to be full of ChickenSh*t.
2: 2nd thread was about men not having as equal rights as people think.

I feel a system of warning should be in place before it gets shut.

I don't see a reason why we should keep spam/flame and trolling threads open just because you find it amusing. That's it.

some threads (like religious) get closed because ppl cant take some heat and because some idiots just cant keep it civil enough (which doesnt really bother me you can simply just ignore them because you know they are idiots but apparently they do make certain ppl mad)
