Why do some people always complain about threads in the general discussion section?

Im sick & tired of hearing "NarutoBase isnt the place to discuss these issues", "This is a cartoon website you shouldnt talk about things like that" etc, etc. Well no offense, but if thats the case then why the hell is there a "General Discussion" section that specificaly says "Discuss here the latest headlines and debate on serious matters"? I dont think the mods,admin, etc, would put sections like this on NB for no apparrant reason. If it annoys you so much why even come to the darn thread? You know why there are so many issues like these in this world? 1 of the reasons is that people are always trying to "sweep things under the rug" instead of addressing these issues. This site is PACKED with intelletual, unique, individuals. I would rather we discuss these things with each other instead of some group of idiots on another site. *cough *cough facebook,twitter.
