My point is Christians aren't the only religious group (those who identify it as such) that get offended by that. I've never even heard of that before not even from the most bigoted ones

That doesn't make any sense. Why would a Muslim, Jew, atheist, etc. get mad at someone for saying happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas? I've never seen a non-Christian get mad at that.

Should I say that this thread is fallacious because I've never seen a Christian get mad because of that? I wasn't trying to turn this into a debate. I was just agreeing with OG Sama. I've never personally seen a Christian get mad, but I have seen other people of different religions get mad or irritated. Just suggesting that different words could have been chosen

What different words should have been chosen? The vast majority of people that are mad over people saying happy holidays instead of merry Christmas are Christians, so I don't see anything wrong with that part. That's your speculation. How many people on this thread have just told you that they've never seen Christians get mad or feel any type of way? That means the vast majority you see are actually a minority in comparison. You should have said some people instead. Obvious bait is obvious

No it doesn't apply to them since they don't like Christmas and don't celebrate it.

Its very true that many do but it just shows their ignorance. Its not the day Jesus was born and its a pagan holiday that predates Christianity. It also reminds me of many Christians getting upset by things ppl do on Sunday because Christians think its a holy day and we should rest and give thanks to God, when its Saturday thats the 7th day and Sunday is the 1st day of the week. This kind of ignorance and narrow mindedness is just funny to me. Dont get me wrong, im using Christianity as the example because its the topic of this thread but every institutionalized religiin is guilty of the same absurdness.
