why do so many members use the term fodder

Ok, let me ask you this. If TenTen dies RIGHT NOW, what will happen to the story?

Guy and Lee would be sad :shrug:. Honestly though, Tenten dying specifically wouldn't have a great effect but the fact that she is one of the K11 and Naruto's generation would have an effect, same goes for most of the Konoha 11

She is no longer in possession of it, so no, this won't happen.

By that logic, Lee is fodder, because Guy wouldn't know about his death until after either. Tenten is very unimportant but the fact that she has had some role in the story even if they are small roles, stops her from being fodder.

so what your saying most of konoha11 are fodder? if hinata and neji die right now the fith division lose some of there best sensor and close combat ninja and if neji dies who is the commander of the hyuga clan, his clan will be confused because there leader has died and they wont know what to do, also if ten ten dies right now choza and hiashi wont do there best since some one they know has died and they well most likely fall into despair
