[Question] Why do registrations activations take so long? ?

I referred my friend from Xbox live to the site because he wanted to join over summer but registrations were closed so I told him they're open and he made an account yesterday after school and it's still not activated.

What's the deal, yo? Did they always take this long?

Alot of people are joining, probably overwhelming considering guest outnumber members greatly

The registration process was altered from what it was and it takes between a few minutes to 24 hours for an account to be fully activated. Its a case of having a bit of patience and it will eventually be activated.
