Overall, words gain a new connotation over time. No biggie.

I don't like the word either, It's a pretty sick word. But unfortunately there's nothing that can be done and if people try to stop it, it will only make the matter worse. And although most mean it differently it's still a word linked directly to violating women and I believe out of respect for them we should not say it against one another. As we all have mothers and I doubt we'd say that in front of them. that's all I have to say.
