Part 1 will always be better then part 2... atleast for me, fights were more skilled and now... creating blasts that scutters half battlefield.

They are still using skill, they are simply larger in scale.

The fights haven't really changed as much as most people think.

First panel of the manga people, and it's about a monster that crushed mountains and causes tsunamies. Could you please explain how you picked up this manga/anime, read/watched this, and somehow came to the conclusion this was only going to be strategy and no large-scale powers?

Naruto is slowly becoming a new Bleach to me. Most of his power ups he's foreshadowed, but it's still like wtf when you read it. No real strategy except to out muscle the other guy.

Best fight for me was Itachi vs Kabuto since it involved real strategy. The rest of this war has been a all out piss contest of who has the most jutsu.
