Why do people watch the Super Bowl for the ads?

About the Super Bowl though, who do you guys want to see winning? I'll have to say the Ravens, since I'm from MD. Don't really watch sports like that though.

I don't watch football. But if I did, I would only watch the Superbowl, and I would only watch it for the commercials. I say that because almost all of the commercials that air during the Superbowl are funny as hell.

The ads produced for the Super Bowl are above and beyond regular ads. They're a spectacle that's a show in and of itself.
