I have noticed a recent trend going on. In recent times, it seems that every time a new epic jutsu is introduced in the manga, everybody wants to find or come up with a way for Kishi to render it pathetically weak.
First it was infinite tsukuyomi. People were coming up with the most ridiculous and pathetic weaknesses for what is supposed to be the ultimate genjutsu and for what has been hyped up for years! People were proposing things like destroying the moon and even sunglasses! Sunglasses for crying out loud!
You know a jutsu is weak when you can buy the counter for the jutsu at Family Dollar!
Now the infinite tsukuyomi nerfing has died down and it has moved on to Kaguya's dimensional shifting jutsu. Despite the fact that the manga itself has repeatedly stated that she is shifting through dimensions and altering them, people are just adamant about wanting it to be severely weakened to simply warping opponents to other parts of the earth or rapidly changing the climate! That would be so pathetic!!!
That would basically mean that the jutsu was just a longer range version of Sasuke's teleportation! Minato could do that crap if he had a seal in these places! Basically, how these people want it, the jutsu isn't special at all!
It would just be some pathetic trash can Dora the explorer jutsu!
My question to you is:
Why? Just why? Why must every jutsu be turned into a Dora the explorer jutsu?
