It's just really frustrating when people think that just because you don't have a lot of jutsu you are not strong. There are many different factors that play into a battle and number of jutsu you have is not always a winning factor.
Take Hiruzen for example: I'm pretty sure he's strong, and it says he mastered all of the jutsu in Konoha.........so what. From what we've seen, elemental jutsu has never killed anyone, hell, Naruto tanked a fire ball jutsu from Sasuke, so I don't think learning a whole bunch of jutsu is that great of a feat, especially since he was an old geaser xd
I am well aware of his Enma staff which has 72 transformation, but we have no idea what they are, so don't speculate it to be something great, he could transform to a roach for all we know.
A prime example of little, but effective jutsu is Minato: from what we know, he liked quick and to the point battles and liked to have an advantage over his enemies by not having to perform hand signs: FTG and Rasengan. These are two very good techs that are way more effective in battle then puny elemental jutsu, he could pretty much end anyones life, not to mention his speed and smarts.
Just a little reminder that knowing tons of jutsu is NOT a meaning that you are always the best, it just means you have a sharinganor are old as dirt, he probably didn't know all those jutsu in his prime anyway. But whatever, i said what i had to say, so good day ladies and gents
