Why do people think Uchiha are weak without the Sharingan?

Without the sharingan they're not that strong really. I wouldn't say they would be fodder, because there would always be another upgrade.

Incorrect,the Uchiha were stated to be the strongest and were given positions in Konoha's millitary.The Hyuuga did'nt even have that much power in the days of Hashirama,Tobirama,and Madara.

Kimmiaro,Haku,Hashirama,and several other jinchuriki such as Gaara were able to use their abilities when they were children,neither of them had any training so you're wrong there.

1. we dont see kimimaro childhood and cant say that hes not training for powers. 2. flashback not show that hashirama has mokuton in childhood and not training for his power. 3.imperfect jinchuriki like gaara can use beast power only after lost control.

uchiha was referred to as ONE of the strongest, the didnt get the police force because of their strentgh is was because tobirama wanted to keep a close watch on them and nothing was stated that the hyuuga was even there during days of hashirama

I dont agree with saying uchiha's cant be stronger w/o sharingan, if they dont have sharingan so what?. They have chakra and they can still train and learn various jutsus and become a powerful shinobi, as simple as that.

At the time of the war an Uchiha without the Sharingan eye would have been very weak up against most, their clan mostly consisted of Fire based jutsu's. Everything else seemed to revolve around the Sharingan. So it seems that at that point in time an Uchiha would be really stuck as a ninja, limited to fire based jutsu's which the other clans, mainly Senju could easily counter.

An Uchiha without the Sharingan eye would probably be a little different in Konoha. He'd still have powerful chakra and be able to learn a more wide variety of jutsu, he'/ she'd be raised not depending on the sharingan.

Bijuu's arent a Free power up like the Sharingan is. A Sharingan is inherited whereas a Bijuu has to be captured (A feat not many people could pull off so easily, Madara did it with the Kyuubi but he needed the Sharingan, Hashirama did it without and captured them all...) and sealed, in order to unlock its full power you need to beat it in a game of tug and war. The only exception was Naruto who befriended Kurama.
All a Sharingan needs to become stronger or to evolve is to experience a trauma from the death of a close friend.

And?They still give the host free powers, so if you going to complain about the Uchiha receiving free power ups then you might want to do the same for every KKG user and jinchuriki.

basically yes, 3t sharingans were rare its not like ms users were running up and down over the village only a handful of people manage to achieve it. let alone unlock sharingan. and it seems you think am talking about a ms sharingan user not the hyuuga isnt stronger than a ms user but they are stronger than the average sharingan user.
