Why do people think it's so wrong to be given a powerup?

Yes a lot of the characters have been given things:
Nagato got the rinnegan from Madara
Kakashi got his sharingan from Obito
Sasuke got his powers from Itachi
Naruto and Kurama and other examples

But let's face it guys if none of these things had happened the plot wouldn't be as good as it is now!

Also, people have to train in order to use their abilities properly. They can be given something yet not use it all. These people are just working with what they have.

Sasuke was really strong even before he fought Itachi. He didn't even get his powers from Itachi, Itachi just helped him unlock them.

I agree that a lot of Madara's techniques are getting quite ridiculous now to the point where it looks like absolutely no-one can beat him but that doesn't mean that he automatically knows how to use it, he must have trained

You guys must be forgetting that Madara has had Hashirama's DNA from their Valley of the End fight all the way up to his Last years of life.
That has to be like 30-40 years of training with EMS + Hashirama's DNA and he may have had 5-10 years of training with Rinnegan before he died ( Give or take)
