Why do people believe itachi had STDs? Did he even have an SO??

The STD's thing is a joke amongst the ignorant ones who say it. They like to say it's "Ninja AIDS". The most likely disease that Itachi had was Tuberculosis given the symptoms he exhibited during his fight with Sasuke both during and at the end of the fight.

He did indeed have an illness, but what it was remained unspecified. As another member above me said, he showed symptoms of Tuberculosis, which is reason to believe he most likely had that, and not AIDS.

No I know he had an illness....but I wonder what it actually was..

As a sakura fan, I determined his illness.
It was stamina deficentcy disorder caused by his nobility to the leaf, basically his power was forced out. His didn't want to kill everyone but he did anyway, for the leaf, so it triggered that special chakra and his guilt caused him to grow sick everytime he used his forbidden power.

Or sasuke eyes were too powerful for his body, they were never itachis eyes .
