Because Madara has no counter for the mile high and wide statue that stomps PS and makes Kurama a plush doll.

Half of Madara's power is Hashirama's. Plus he has no counter to shinsuusenju.

EMS Madara with PS + Kyuubi wasn't enough to down Hashirama, though, it was a close fight.


Edo Madara lacks the Kyuubi, but now has the Rinnegan (He can only use a number of paths, mind you), and Mokuton, on top of PS.

Hashirama counters Mokuton with Mokuton, and PS is equal to the size of Mokuryū, with equal power I am assuming.

I don't think a few Rinnegan paths and Mokuton make up for the destructive Kyuubi's power that Madara used to possess.

Well, the only answer would be Tengai Shinsei, if Madara can actually spam it like some people suggest. Even then it would be a close fight...

In all honesty, current Edo Madara is pretty equal to Edo Hashirama, if you ask me. If Madara somehow got his hands on Hashirama's Sage techniques, then Madara would obviously be stronger.
