Why people keep saying perfect susonno is a ems trait, when the manga clearly gives more then enough evidence that it is a rennigan trait.

Rinnegan has nothing to do with Susanoo. Everyone who used that technique had ems sharingan. I think Madara just mastered it, so it`s called `perfect`.

well when he first used it , he clearly had renni also when he told the kages i will not pull out perfect susonno again cause everyone who seen it before have died. Last i check he lost to harashima .

If EMS makes your susanoo perfect, than it truly sucks if you dont have susanoo and it would be weird if you get perfect susanoo all of a sudden, if you didnt had it before.
Susanoo is said to be rare to unlock.

It could be that EMS perfects your talents.

Sasuke enhanced his amaterasu useage even further.
Madara probably enhanced his susanoo.
Itachi would probably become even better at tsukuyomi.

No-one can say for sure, though I personally believe only the EMS is needed. But I concede there are things in the manga which may hint that it is a Rinnegan technique.
