I think they'll be fine. Sure, they're screwed once Sasuke and his posse arrives, but that'll probably take a few chapters.

Madara and Obito will most likely start using their Rinnegan. Naruto and the alliance are having trouble holding their own, especially if the juubi is out of control and is randomly attacking people... Then at the moment when they're close to defeat... Sasuke, Hashirama and the gang shows up to save the day... triggering thousands of fangasms.

I doubt Kishi is going to let his second favourite character have an underwhelming entrance xD

i can hardly see madara using rinnegan better than nagato who had it for like his whole life,while madara had it as an old man for a couple of years.the more someone uses the jutsu the better it gets,and i doubt an old madara had enough stamina to practice rinnegan's full abilities more than nagato did.and i doubt madara can come up with a jutsu more OP than EMS or rinnegan powers,lets face it he's not that good,he always relied on one jutsu susanoo.and from his current position madara's PS looks like a little toy soldier compared to 1K hands.and i can't see any of the rinnegan abilities suppressing mokuton.

Ill explain something to you. Experience in naruto doesn't always count.
Naruto mastering sennin modo before jiraiya or sasuke being able to manipulate amaterasu even after itachi having it for years is enough.

But at the same time hype and feats shows that madara is a greater rinnegan user than nagato.
Yes nagato has been given more screen time and has more feats. However pound for pound, madara's limited feats and rinnegan hype is greater than nagato.


Madara's hype is the fact that, unlike nagato he had access to something important. Secrets of rikudou sennin.

How can Madara's Rinnegan be stronger when Nagato has experience with those years for over than 20 years? Simply, look at Obito, who uses those eyes for a day and has yet an Outer-Path which level exceeds Nagato's by far. As someone who got the Sharingan transplanted will never match a true Uchiha who mastered his Dojutsu, an Uzumaki who got the Rinnegan transplanted will never match the power of a true wielder, containing Uchiha and Senju power at its maximum, what directly increases the power of the Rinnegan intself, that is a result of those powers, and allows to use new powers as well as old on a far larger scale, what was proven by Obito's Outer-Path usage and probably by Madara, who easily dropped meteors from the heavens.

It would be absurd if Hashirama alone could match Madara's new powers, that now include a large scale Mokuton and even the Rinnegan on top of the power that made him actually be equal to Hashirama, marginally inferior.

I mean Madara and Obito alone are facing the whole alliance, consisting out of about 30.000 Shinobi that were boosted by Kurama's chakra and include the four Hokage, Naruto, Sasuke, Orochimaru, such as the high tier Jonin like Kakashi with Kamui. It would be a rape to the point it's not even funny if Hashirama is already superior to Madara, and I think this is not how a final fight will look like.
