Why do people make these types of threads?

Comparing two different Mangaverses and trying to argue which is stronger. Each respective universe has its own governing rules, power levels and mechanics behind their techniques( I.e narutoverse has chakra, bleach reiatsu etc) so why bother trying to compare two things that one cannot accurately compare? I don't get it
