The thing is I like both I really do it's just I hate the real extreme Sasuke fanboys...and don't get me wrong I hate the extreme Naruto fanboys as well but there aren't that many extreme Naruto fanboys, you know.

I agree with the fact that both Naruto and Sasuke trained like crazy during the three years, and when they met I think they were even in power but some Sasuke fanboys just refuse to understand the situation, Naruto had just battled Orochimaru in a 4 tailed state leaving him physically exhausted while Sasuke was what lying down having a rest...don't think I'm fanboying they where both equal in strength.

However what fanboys fail to realize is that they will always balance out equally, When Sasuke gained MS he surpassed Naruto...and then Naruto gained SM making them equal again.

Then Naruto gained KCM and Sasuke gained the EMS keeping them equal, however now Naruto has gained another power up which makes Naruto surpass Sasuke but soon Sasuke will gain another power up most likely the Rinnegan and we'll all be having this argument again.

It's unfair to say that Naruto is cheating by using Kurama's power when he had to train to use it, suffer the hate from being the Jinchuriki.

Sasuke is the same despite what people think Sasuke did work for MS as he had to train in the abilities...but with the EMS even I can see that was a free power up all he had to do was to have a implant to get his brothers eyes.

With the circumstances of their lives it's clearly been shown that Naruto and Sasuke could of ended up in each others shoes,

Naruto - taking revenge on the village that hated him and made his life a living hell, Naruto embraced his friends while Sasuke turned away from them.

However both have reasons to want to destroy the village I suppose that's why people like Naruto more because he rose above vengeance.

However in the end I see Naruto being the stronger of the two based of the relationship between Hashirama and Madara they parallel Naruto and Sasuke, one fighting for the will of fire while the other fights for vengeance.

Now I guess I'll wait to be flamed by both Naruto and Sasuke extreme fanboys saying "Naruto cheats using Kurama's power and Sasuke's god so he can defeat everyone"

or "Sasuke sucks he always gets free power ups while and Naruto can defeat the So6p".

I agree with you I dont hate or love any character. I have a favorite of course but that always whats happens when you read a manga. Its people that go over the top and start to be emotionally connected to a character that they start to think and say outrageous crap lol. Yoiu always have to remeber people a character only is as strong or evil or good as Kishi wants him to be lol.

Personally I find Sasuke to be an extremely boring, uninteresting, one-dimensional character. It's been a very long time since he's had any real character development and he stopped being compelling since Part 1 of the series ended. Naruto is the same in some ways, but I find him far more interesting because at least he's still developing and becoming mature, where Sasuke still comes across as a whiny child to me.

I for one have leaned towards Sasuke since Part One because when I was younger and first started watching I thought he was cool but now that I am more mature I find his storyline and life fascinating.

Both Sasuke and Naruto and likable for their own unique abilities.

But seriously though some people in the Sasuke fanbase ruin all of our reputation and we get prejudged just because he is our favorite character.

I agree with you 100%. I like both Naruto and Sasuke, but I lean more towards Sasuke. I aslo think Sasuke has great character development. I also agree with the fact that we get prejudged because Sasuke's our favorite character, it's all the trolls that make him way better then he is. Basically like 80+% of Sasuke's fan base are trolls...

OT: I think the reason people like Naruto, but hate Sasuke is because he's like the antagonist of the series. He's supposed to show how Naruto could have turned out if he would have gave into his hatred.

My personal stand point between both of them is favorable towards naruto but i am neutral towards sauske....i dont hate him but i do not support his never ending quest of revenge...i like him when he fights in battle..but not when its story time for sauske...i think he does appear to be more emo than he used to be...back in part 1 i actually didnt mind sauskes quest for power...now that hes at this point in the manga with orochimaru revived...kinda irritates me somehow...

Let's go through this step by step.
1. When Sasuke met Naruto over the break again, Naruto had just finished fighting Orochimaru and had the 9-tails chakra forcibly sealed back inside of him. On top of that, Naruto was overcome with emotion by seeing his old "friend" again and chose not to fight Sasuke. He never intended to fight Sasuke at all, just try to convince him to return. He also didn't "get his ass handed over" either. Sasuke only had time to stab Yamato before he and Oro teleported away. Naruto and Sasuke never even fought.

2. You claim that Naruto only learned a few rasengan upgrades over the time skip. Quite contrarily, Naruto could effectively go up to 3 tails without losing control. Naruto aged abit and increased his general abilities. The timeskip doesn't seem to have that much effect because everyone else also improved alot. You have to keep in mind though that naruto was on even grounds with S-class ninja like deidara. So it might not have seemed like naruto didn't learn alot because he did not learned any new jutsu, he merely improved his basics which he lacked.

3.He got his ass handed over to Pain using sage mode, you say? I'm not sure which fight you saw, but the one I was watching, Naruto effectively destroyed 5 out of Pain's 6 paths. In fact, Pain was utterly unable to harm Naruto in any way when Naruto was in sage mode, and had to completely wait for sage mode to dispel in order to hurt him. He also used the mode later on when he fought against Kurama, the 3rd Raikage, the 2nd Mizukage, Nagato, Madara, and Tobi's 6 paths.

4. "He just cheats his way through [battles] with the Kyuubi's chakra." If we think back through Shippuden, we will realize that Naruto has not once defeated an enemy relying on only the Kyubbi's chakra. Ever since the time skip, the Kyubbi has only seemed to have gotten in the way, as a reason for Kakashi or Yamato to seal it back within Naruto. He went 4 tails on Oro, but was unable to defeat him then, and if you had read the part of the thread from before, we figure that there is a possibility that Naruto could have defeated Pain a lot more simply had the Kyubbi not been inside him at all.

5. Let's compare a few strategies, shall we?
Naruto vs. Preta, Naraka, and Deva Pain:
Create 2 shadow clones. Place a cloud of smoke. Run towards Preta Pain disguised as Rasenshuriken and have him absorb transformation jutsu. Tackle Preta to ground, making sure to cover eyes, and proceed to crush throat. First clone throws real Rasenshuriken at Deva Pain while the Second clone simultaneously jumps high, out of field of vision, to Destroy Naraka Pain on the way back down with a Rasengan Barrage.

Sasuke vs. Danzo:
Activate Susanoo. Fire Susanoo arrows. Repeat until win.

It's just that i dont understand his logic. He completely goes against the wishes of the one who he respects the most, who sacrificed his reputation and life just to protect Sasuke, and yet Sasuke cant do this one thing that he wants for him. Its this selfish attitude that i just dont understand in his character, Itachi sacrifised everything for Sasuke and yet he still ignores his wishes
