Why do people like J-pop and K-pop?

I mean if you can't understand the music then why listen to it? That's me personally I wonder why people like listening to it if they aren't japanese or korean. There are two japanese songs that I like and one is in english lol and the other I saw the translation so i was al good. I don't know how people decide that they like something without knowing what it means?

This is the most idiotic post I've seen in quite some time. :|

If it sounds good to you then your only listening to one aspect of the song. How can you say its a song and only be listening to the way it sounds? song(words and the way you say those words)+sound=music in this case. There are cases were just the sound is the music like dubstep and house etc. Honestly what you have just said is stupid because its like saying you're listen to rap but not the lyrics how can you listen to a song without the lyrics that just means you're listening to the instrumentals.?

I enjoy listening to that kind of music even though I don't completely understand it. But it's refreshing listening to something else for change besides it's actually helping me on my Japanese and Korean. Plus I look for the English translations so I actually have a clue what they are saying.
