Why do people like Hashirama?

Because everyone has their opinions of characters they like. It would be like me saying "why do you like Obito? He's just crying like a ***** because he got friend zoned.", that would be a pretty narrow minded view of the character don't you agree? Reflect on that, and have a good evening

If you think all Hashirama has is wood, you haven't been reading the manga. He's Narutoverse's Superman. He's everything every shinobi wants to be, including Madara. He's got the best genjutsu, healing, and KKG. He can seal and sap chakra. And on top of all that he has Sage Arts.

This guy's very flesh can give anyone super powers!

I second this. Its a moot point but if it werent for plot no jutsu, if this story and the abilities were real madara would probably own everybody except obito. Regular Obito. I dont think realistically that kamui crap would even work unless obito was sleeping or something. hashirama's justus are big and powerful, but not power and size in a real setting wouldnt matter as much as being analytical and sneaky. Naruto would be dead in the first issue if it werent for plot no jutsu because theres no way with his abilites he wouldve beaten anybody, Haku, Pein, Kakuzu, cmon, no way.

No doubt it's good, but the fact it takes 10 years to charge is a huge draw back. In a combat situation, I will take deep forest blossom over that.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read. If it's only wood, then fire, wind, water, earth, and lightning are just that...wind, water, earth, and lightning. Earth style? Tossing rocks. Water style? Splashing water. Wood is amazing because it has special properties. Hence, why only he can use it naturally, hence why everyone likes him. Also, Hashirama is known for many things, not just his wood style. In case you were brain dead when reading the last chapter and missed the entire Kage meeting.

how can it be manga fact when he's never actually seen him preform genjutsu? When it comes to a combat situation there are few genjutsu's better than Hashi's. It's aoe and inescapable, that's manga fact. However you welcome to your OPINION, really doesn't matter, my point still stands.

Hashirama is stronger than Madara, plain and simple.

Most of the power he displayed in today's episode was HASHIRAMA'S power, not his.

And who said Hashirama only uses Wood? He has tons of abilities and probably even more that we haven't even seen in the manga yet. He can stop a Bijuu in it's tracks with no problem, he can use all sorts of seals, he has Sage Mode.

There's a reason Madara respects Hashirama so much. Hashirama already whooped dat ass.

Madara is super bad ass, but you fanboys are funny.

But power alone isn't a reason to like a character. I like his design too, but his personality is awesome. He's just an all-around cool guy, he's like Good Guy Greg.

I find his power amazing. It's not just about 'destruction' like the powers of other characters. The variety, the scale, its just awesome.
P. S : he would still have earth and water release,.. And some level of genjutsu.
