Why do people like Boruto?

I'm not a fan yet. 'Yet' because his potential due to his Hyuga blood does make me think he could become one of my favs. Stopped watching the anime early... but his performance against Nue was pretty neat.

Well I don't like him because of his fanboys. Ironically, I was more of a Naruto/Naruto's family fan during the initiation of the series. As the former feeling was shaped because of the excessive preferences towards him, and the characteristic properties of that, I guess you can say my stance isn't entirely justifiable.

Acting objectively, he has a lot of attributes that encourages preference.
