Why do people (including Kishi himself) think that Kishi doesn't do females well?

If you think that Japan,Korea or China is going to treat Women the Same as the west dose, then you may need wait 10 to 20 years more because the feminism of the West in the 1960 never took hole in Oriental Asia any more than it did in Majority of Arab Countries. Change doesn't happen as fast In one place as it dose some ware else.

I know you are. Lol

On topic though, why are you bashing me? You wanted a category about Karin, so I gave it to you. It was truthful as well.

Are you telling me that you would want your little daughter to grow up thinking that she should let some man abuse and stab her just because she likes how he looks?

Do you hate me?

That is because there are more males and females in general in this story that have roles that relate more to the actual plot.

That doesn't discredit the fact that they have the smallest impact and Kishi doesn't seem to care much about them at all.
It seems like he tries to make some of them relevant, but he always finds a way to push them aside. Team 7's teamwork bullshit being the latest example. Why is Sakura even around for?

They're generally dependant on a more prominent male character and stick around for no reason whatsoever other than filling the backgound. This goes for the decent ones as well (for example Tsunade, who was introduced and developed perfectly in part 1 and then found one hell of a dead end in part 2).

And you think Hinata has a good personality? Lol

She was the only girl in the academy to not be a pin head Sasuke fan girl without even knowing Sasuke's personality or having interaction with him. She also didn't hate on Naruto for no reason like everyone else did.

Karin is still better than Sakura

How so? They are both pretty bad in terms of the pin head aspect, but Karin takes it to the psychologically insane level. I mean really, she hugged Sasuke so affectionately after getting out of jail (which was just after Sasuke stabbed her). At least Sakura had the decency to try to kill Sasuke (but she choked and couldn't bring herself to do it).

Team 7's poor teamwork is due to Sasuke's attitude though. It is not Sakura. Also, to be fair, Naruto and Sasuke are the two main characters. People treat Sakura as the tritagonist, when she really doesn't have much relevance to begin with besides being on the team. She wasn't nearly as affected by Kaguya and her puppet chain's ambitions (by puppet chain I mean Black Zetsu, Madara, Obito, Nagato, and Akautski) as the real main characters (Naruto and Sasuke) were. If Tenten was put on team 7 instead of Sakura then Tenten would have the level of importance that Sakura has.

As for people like Tsunade, think about this: She really had no more need for development in part 2. She became the hokage in part 1 and that was it. She overcame her internal turmoil over the loss of her loved ones and finally moved into the stage of acceptance and moved on with her life for the sake of herself and those around her (the village). What more is there to develop?

Kishi has done a good job with it, if this was a female manga I probably wouldn't read it.

I'll stick to two things: Character development and the fact most play the damsel in distress role, ie end up being saved by their male counterparts.

Team 7 doesn't have poor teamwork though (NaruSasu works in unison, they are the team). Team 7 was (supposedly) balanced in part 1 but now its all about NaruSasu vs everybody, they're just weird.
She's just a supporting character, i know, but that doesn't mean she has to be neglected or put down for the main cast to shine.
Besides, her character doesn't seem inferior compared only to the main characters. Having Kakashi saving her was very disappointing and contradicting.
And i don't mean inferior just when it comes to jutsus and fighting skills. I like her, but at the same time i can't help to notice that her character is kind of a mess.

That's a problem. What's the point of keeping her around then if she isn't going to contribute?
All that talk and effort against Pein only for Naruto to make him have a change of heart and revive everyone? All that talk about the WoF only to be stomped like a bug? It makes it all seem pointless.
I hate to admit it, but she's been a waste of panels for a long time, no matter how much i like to read the scenes where she's in.

Because only about 3-4 of the females are well written to an extent.

Why would Kishi think that honestly?

The only females that are written well are:

1. Konan
2. Tayuya
3. Mei
4. Anko
5. Pakura

You are overhyping every single female for no reason. More than half of them are garbage and some of them are only used for male love interests like Ino, Sakura and Hinata.
:leaf:
OP: They are alright but sometimes Kishi shits on them and misses opportunity. They can be pretty cool.

Of course your low intelligence can't understand Tayuya or Pakura.
