I saw this on another forum and just had to share. It annoys the hella outta me too. But it also makes me laugh sometimes Lol.

Fodders to be exact...

"Its the Royal shichibukai, Donquixote Doflamingo!"
"No way, he glowing red and steaming"
"Hes starting to clench his fist"
"No way, that guy cut a whole ship in half!"
"Its the greatest swordsman in the world... Dracule Mihawk. *gasms*"
"Vice Admiral garp stepped into the fight!"
XD XD

Believe it or not, people do that in real life all the time when the excitement(Whether negative or positive) builds up.
Really true... I'm in high school and whenever a fight breaks out there'll be that one guy that screams loud as heck 'they fighting!'

It happens. But I think in manga sometimes it adds shock value when people state what happens, and it clears up confusion when it's stated in black and white what is happening in the panel. For example if 2 characters clash and someone says 'the force of character A's smash broke that glacier!' It would clear up the confusion of who's punch did what.

I understand it being applied in the manga, but it being implemented in the anime is just redundant.

Like sometimes i like it. Like in marineford, each time a major character appeared, they yelled it out XD XD

Like Ricker said even in real life we do have our own Narrator smurfs, "ohh sh!t that Guy just fell/car just hit a tree" or the usual "dem does beaches r fighting"

Well it clears stuff up and adds shock value as said before and for me it adds a hella lot of fun.

If a neegar
goes "ohh he is clenching his fist" then I'm like already hyped for that fist to strike xd(though yah that one's a bit too much).
