[Discussion] Why do people have the need to bash a certain character?

Some characters just get on people's nerves (Sakura) others are useless (Sakura) and others just cause its fun to hate on them (Sakura).

Simple question.

I made this thread simply because I don't understand why some people here just have to hate a certain character. I find that weird to be honest. To me, every character has some importance and I'll never say a character is useless. I also don't quite understand shipping. Although I do see Hinata ending up with Naruto.

Sakura has made it clear throughout the entire manga that she isn't romantically interested in Naruto, but that she does love Sasuke. We've seen her confirm this at the bridge to Kakashi, we've seen her confirm it during the war arc when one of the fodder ninja asked her out on a date (she refused because she loves somebody else, and it was clearly implied to be Sasuke). The one time when she did express romantic feelings for Naruto, she was trying to manipulate him against fighting Sasuke (and Naruto called her out on her lie).

Naruto hasn't really expressed any romantic feelings for Hinata, but he hasn't expressed more than a simple boyhood crush for Sakura either. I think you're right, Naruto and Hinata are definitely going to end up together, and Sakura and sasuke are going to get together.e
