That's kinda weird, considering he made the remark before the war even began. Sasuke and Sakura were next on the Hokage train.

I thought it was cute how he tried to behave like a big dog. To me Kiba is still a puppy that has yet to grow up into a big strong K-9. not bashing this is my serious opinion.

He is alright though, kind of. He is kind of annoying as well as more annoying, but I don't hate him.

His proclaim to be the next Hokage isn't what did it, but everytime he is talking or doing anything , he is annoying.

Kiba claimed to want to be hokage earlier on in a flashback when he fought Naruto in the prelims of the Chunin Exam I think, but he is kinda like the guy that wants attention while everyone is annoyed by any little idiotic moment. idk
