Why do people hate Kakashi?

As we mostly talk about hate this night,as the title suggest do you hate Kakashi? I personally am not a fan of his character at all. It's just another failure after another...He let his comrades die,his best friend became an evil antagonist who destroyed his village and even though he and Sasuke had so many similarities and he was the one who could maybe guide him in a positive direction he failed at that too....

Most people hate him because of the Kamui spam, but that's gone now.
Some people hate him because they think he's fodder in comparison to Sasuke and Naruto, which he is.
Other people hate him because his arsenal is nearly non-existant once the sharingan is taken away.
A few people don't like the way he handles Team 7.
Other people like yourself, view him as a failure.
And some people didn't like his Sasuke fanboyism in pt1.

But to me, he'll always be one of my favs.

I don't realy know how a wonderful character like Kakashi could be ever hated by someone. Only reason that comes to mind is the butthurt for his strength with Kamui GG. But I'd see the same people hating on Kakashi because of too much hax hating on other characters that has the same hax or even more.
