Why do people hate Indian movies?

its just like hollywood guys there are good movies and there are bad movies
also its a matter of personal opinion
i'm an Indian and i dont like all the movies .....as a guy above said around 800+ movies come out an year and only about 50% would be good to watch and 25% really exceptional

another drawback is the production and special effects ....very few Indian movies will have a high budget to pull off some amazing special effects

I think the Indian action movies are stupid, I remember once my Indian barber was very embarrased

South Indian Movies r kinda funny hehehe der action seems 2 be funny instead of serious i mean dey just make a Man(Main Actor) As a Superhero 1 main actor defeats all 100's of villain alone i mean cm'on

My room mate is Indian and Ive watched quite a share of Indian movies because of him, the problem I have with them is that they are all the same plot wise generally. Its nearly always about some guy fighting some crime lord or something similar. And the random fckin dancing scenes every here and then...

I think the only thing that is almost the same in all their movies is the song lyrics

Because they have Indian people in them ?

I never watch Bollywood movies so I can't really say I like/dislike 'em.

Anbe Sivam(south indian) but one of the best ever ....its about communism and atheism in a fun way

they have songs but its definitely worth a watch
