Why do people even care about pairings?

The only reason to even worry about the pairings for naruto is so you could see how their kids would turn out. Naruto isn't a romance and that's never even been the main focus bar the first 2/3 episodes and Obito.

For me personally if this anime never had any romance that'd be perfectly fine: I think it tends to ruin action anime just like how SAO was total snake shit, but might have been better without it.
