[Debate] Why do people do this

Im specifically talking about people in poverty. Why do they have children knowing that they struggle to get by the day to get food and water. By bringing a child into the world all they are just doing is causing the child to suffer too.

This is issue is big in third world countries, do they not think about this problem. I know they might want a family but shouldn't they first take care of themselves before bringing a child in to the world.

Most parents who bring children into a life of poverty end up dying through sickness or something else, leaving the child to be alone and falling into bad things to get by.

Do you guys know the point of people in poverty / 3rd world countries do this?

This might sound selfish but If people in poverty/3rd world countries knowing that they will struggle to keep the child healthy stopped having kids, it could solve population increase.

Poverty as third war or US poverty? Either way it's for ***/pleasure and they can't afford protection.

Because in most 3rd world countries people don't have as many luxuries to occupy themselves with so they fall back on the genetic code inside all humans and that is to have ***. Again, because they are 3rd world nations and impoverished people they can not afford contraception or protection so their intercourse results in children more frequently than developed nations. Also, they lack institutes like adoption centers or abortion clinics leaving the children to be born and raised by the poor parents.

They can't afford/don't believe in contraception so every time they have *** they risk getting pregnant. After they get pregnant they have the kid because they can't afford/don't believe in abortions. That is why my friend.

Because if people don't reproduce their people would die off, and people will have *** regardless of their circumstances.

Plus if no one in 3rd world reproduce who would supply our materials? Realsticlly speaking most of our stuff we enjoy is made by underpaid workers in inprovished countries. If they stop habving kids the work force will be shorten to the extent of them not having enough people to work in these factories.

Culturally speaking there are many different reasons beyond not being able to afford contraceptives. In some countries (including 1st world countries before modern medicine) they have many children because child mortality is so high. In others it is considered an insult to the man to not take his semen. And then you have religion. I'm not Catholic, but I do recall the "every sperm is sacred" song.

1. If you're not poor more children are an labor force and extra money. 2. 9/10 people i provety wont come come of it....so why not have a family. 3. The hopes of a successful child. 4. Lack of ways, education, or care to prevent it.
