People complain because Alienware is made to be gaming, yet you can build your own PC with parts bought online and make it so much better for around the same price or less. Alienware is just the way to go if you know very little about PC specs and what to get.

People who buy those other computers, don't buy them to play games. It's probably bought by some older person who just wants to use social media on a stable computer.
I have a friend who paid soo much money into Alienware and soon after I have build my own system which cost me less plus I saved some money for sweets if you can call it in that way. The computers which are pre-build are so shit anyway, I don't see why should I buy Alienware, Mac or whatever shit they come up with where I can spend less money and build computer system under my preferences with a bit of customisation (modding) and lower price.

The Macs are usually bought by big companies or smaller studios who needs computers for video editing, art, social media etc and probably Studio Pierrot has Macs as well, just saying alright ?

Tho speaking of apple you simply paying for brand and that's their whole secret, even their Iphones are so shit that I wouldn't touch it by wood stick seriously and people only buy it because expensive = better and basta ! I know few normal people (like us) who has Macs and the only thing which they do on it is surf internet or watch movies. Tho most of the people where I live has Iphones (-_-) or Samsungs.

The main reason is that Alienware costs more compared to a Custom PC build. You can get separate PC components and build one at the same price of the Alienware Desktop and still be powerful enough to destroy the Alienware by a lot. If you are talking about laptops, Asus or MSI would be a great and better choice over Alienware.

Wow, you've never heard of Asus or MSI have you? You ask if I'm thinking straight without actually doing any research. Your original post it'self shows you've done little research. I've been building computers for 8 years, you're out of your league in this debate.

Here's where you screwed up. You didn't even build your own desktop for gaming. You associate Alienware with what PC is in general. You have no room to talk. You're comparing two different things with two different types of customers. PC users troll Alienware customers. Apple customers troll PC customers because of the mac vs PC debate. PC builders troll alienware customers because Alienware over prices their crap. You're basically saying "Well Apple computers are over priced, and people buy them, so why all the hate just because Alienware is pricey". It's because Alienware doesn't have to be pricey, you can build their same desktop line for cheaper and you can go to other companies like MSI or Asus for example (Just listing these two and not the entirety of every gaming laptop manufacturer) for laptops. What you don't seem to understand, is that Alienware is owned by DELL, Dell has the same access to hardware as any other major computer manufacturer. You've done so little research that this thread really just screams troll bait. It has all the markings.

"PC vs Mac"
"Alienware is great!"
"Alienware vs X gaming computer company"

lmfao, "Super boosted". Really? You show you have no idea what you're talking about. What you mean to say is "Overclocking". Anyone can do it. I have my CPU and GPU overclocked right now myself, I did it myself. 3.5ghz to 5.0ghz on my cpu and water cooled by an h80i. You know so little about this stuff while trying to act like you know enough to debate on it that it's cute. This thread is like watching a kitten play fight with it's own mother.

Pick your poison. Built and have to deal with the issues of assembly yourself, not to mention the gremlins that come with it. Or bought and you can get manufacturers warranty and customer service. Which along with the labor of putting it together is also included in the price.

Everyone has different tastes and everyone has different brands they like. Those apple products you posted are top end type stuff. But I suspect that the people that complain about the price of alienware stuff aren't the same people going out to buy macs. Those seem like two different types of consumers.

I agree tho I'd like to add a few things. When you build a PC, you are your own customer service and that's a good thing because if you can build a PC then fixing it will be easy for you and within your power to do so, also, you'll get the best prices because there's no middle man, you're not paying someone to fix it for you. Warranties, I've dealt with those it's not fun when a company takes your computer off for 2 months (Girlfriend has an HP laptop, true story.) for something that can be fixed in a day. Building a computer takes the average person about an hour. There's a group of 12 year olds that can build them within 15min and do it for school challenges. When it comes to things like gaming anyways you'll basically be voiding your warranty by upgrading your computer with a GPU/Ram/CPU when it comes to manufacturers like HP, lenovo etc. It's best to build your computer if you want a high end one, but if you want something for basic use then by all means go out and buy one.
