If they aren't allowed to be sad or feel their suffering because there are those who had/have it worse, then you aren't allowed to feel your happiness and feel your blessings because there are those who had/have it better.

Saying people who cut themselves, even out of depression, are just doing it for attention, yes that's sometimes true, but it doesn't discredit(so to speak) the act of them cutting themselves. Sometimes, that's what they need. Most of the people who cut themselves don't just do it on the first hint of sadness out of the blue, it's usually a build up of constant sadness, whether it be from bullying, domestic abuse,or anything else that can cause stress and depression. People that cut themselves, you don't ignore them, this is a sign that says "Oh shit, this person NEEDS attention, they NEED help", the same way a person that is starving needs food, or the same way that person that is sleep deprived needs some shut-eye. Needing attention isn't always a negative thing the way people like you try to make it out to be.

You have what is called a lack of empathy and sympathy, and it is, quite frankly, one of the most disgusting traits to ever surface among mankind.

You are one of the worst type of people.
The people who spent their lives forming countries did so so that we could live happy lives.
Just because others have it worse doesn't mean we can't feel bad for ourselves, and doesn't mean we can't feel happy.
I'm not going to be sad all day because there is a starving boy in africa, and no one has to. It's unfortunate, but that has nothing to do with me.
