I just want to know it. Seriously; why? Do you need to compare them to each other just to show how much awesome the other is? They are characters, and each character has their own purpose in the story. Yes, we are comparing characters to each other; like we discuss Naruto and Sasuke's power levels and aims;or what kind of parallels are existing in story such as legendary sannin and team 7.
But why do people these two to each other?
Is it because the love triangle thing?
Is it because there is a throne of "main heroine" to get?
Is it just for bashing one of them while hyping the other?
Is it because they had been viewed as plain pairing fodders?
Whenever i see a Sakura thread, i see Hinata's name mentioned in the comments irrevelantly.

Can't you just view them as actual characters; they did not even influenced each other's development, they did not declared rivalry to each other, they never got to fight and probably never will.
Comparing them to each other and saying "who is better" is just something causes endless s**tstorm; they are characters with different purposes and each of them has their own moments in story, as you have seen in manga, each character can't get to shine in every chapter equally, they developed and will be developing their characteristics throughout the story differently(Now that i said it, i will probably get viewed as a "butthurt Narusaku fan" who got mad about what happened in 615; just to let you know, idgaf about pairings; but i think Naruto and Hinata would be better together).
None of these two girls has the obligation to glomp each other for being the main heroine or for ending up with the main hero, and just to let you know, i am not the fan nor hater of these characters, they are on the equal ground for me.
