It's been bugging me a tad bit on why people would wholeheartedly believe that the Sage of Six Path, the very same person that was going out of his way to spread his philosophy of world peace and unification through chakra throughout the nations and also considered a hero by the world would suddenly be "evil" at the very last second of the Naruto manga series.

Can someone please explain to me on their logic from their perspectives ?

Black Zetsu has already stated that he change the tablet from Hagoromo's original text, which can be one reason to doubt the Sage. Who knows what else is fake and fabricated about the Sage.

Hagoromo has his brother seal for some reason and he doesn't seem sad/shock that his mother was the Juubi. Plus, the entire Outer Path being considered bad in Buddhism.

Because he isn't acting like a Sage. Kishi bases a lot of Naruto on ancient Asian legends. A true sage doesn't act like Hagaromo has so far done.

It would be terrible for plot. It would create several gaping holes in it.

to the OP: two reasons... 1) People don't wan the Manga to come to a close just yet without a more satisfying final battle & 2) They want to be the guy who "called it".

Well, there's that creepy eyebrowless face of his and the creepy smile that comes along with that.

And the mystery about Hamura (why does Hago have the moon seal).

Exactly.

Exemple 1:

-Naruto: "Who are you"
-Hagoromo: "I'm the one who saved the world , I'm Hagoromo Ootsutsuki"

Is that a sage's attitude?

Exemple 2:

He is not able to talk to Naruto with simple words , a sage should be able to , even without having seen Naruto's life like Hagoromo did.

Exemple 3:

Why hide things to Naruto ( telling : "that is not important , let's talk about what I want us to talk about , shut up I continue my story" ) , although he said in the same minute that "there is no need to hurry here".

Exemple 4:

Hago doesn't let Naruto talk , he stopped Naruto several times in the middle of a phrase.

First of all none of those are acts of an evil person.

Secondly, Rikudo is a name people gave him, he didn't give it to himself.

Lastly, How sagely was Jiraiya exactly? According to you he must have been evil too, since he was a perv, made money off his books, and often boasted.

Well they did point out some pretty good reasons. His sword looked pretty evil in my opinion.

I never said he was "evil" , I said he has not the attitude of a sage , if you read carefully at my post.

The whole teaching Ninshu could be a lie, we could have an explanation of Hamura, there is still a lot of mystery about how the Juubi was sealed. Also, the final fight was lame.

Nice try, but the person you were agreeing with, to which you said "exactly" was. So it was heavily implied you think he's evil.

And I'm not sure if you've looked at the title of this thread or not....
