The Yata Mirror was an ethereal shield wielded by the left arm of Itachi's Susanoo. It is said to be endowed with all nature transformations and as such changes its own characteristics to completely negate any opposition, whether it be spiritual, or physical.

Plot twist: Itachi is one of my least favourite characters; and one of the last characters I would wank to. Doesn't change the fact that yata/totsuka's hype stands until proven otherwise. The reason why Itachi is not invincible is due to his crappy staminga, not the tools themselves.

I often hear the argument: Yata can block anything and Totsuka can seal anything because BZ said so. If what I recall is correct, BZ was unaware that Itachi sacrificed his life and was spying on Akatsuki, while Obito/Tobi knew this all along. So why do people assume that he knows everything and that he's right in this particular case?

Who would know better then BZ how Yata and Totsuka work? He already lived when the SO6P was still alive. I don't understand your arguement that BZ wasn't aware that Itachi was spying on Akatsuki, how does that make his input on the legendary weapons less credible???
